The Wilde Maus roller coasters are distinguished from others as they are also suitable for children, as long as they are at least 6 years old. Unlike the other roller coaster in the Wiesn, it does not have the loops of death and reaches a maximum height of 15 meters.
With these features, it is easy to run the risk of underestimating them. In fact, the continuous alternation of steep descents, changes of direction and corners taken at high speed will give passengers a huge surge of adrenaline, due also to the fact that those who go up on the Wilde Maus don’t go up on a single long train, but on one of 4 vehicles with only 4 seats!
The current Wilde Maus, constructed from steel, is a “remake” of the 1934 version of the roller coaster, in wood, that was updated and improved, especially from a safety aspect.
