With its 2,500 seats it is considered by many visitors to be the most beautiful tent at the Oktoberfest.
Unlike the other tents, wine is consumed here with a selection of more than 15 varieties of wine along with sparkling wines and champagne. For those who cannot do without, beer is also served along with Paulaner white wheat beer, but only until 9 in the evening!
Owned by the Kuffler family, it was built in 1984 and restored in 2005 in a traditional style and is well appointed with antique wooden seats and offers on the west side, a panoramic view of the statue of Bavaria.
Radio 96.3 Gong Munich has its studio inside. It offers an excellent menu, a variety of cheeses, succulent veal, roast duck, lamb chops, roast suckling pig in a beer sauce, grilled king prawns and salmon are just some of the dishes available here. Here three different orchestras alternate.
The Weinzelt also makes an exception and closes at one o’clock in the morning.
